The Developer’s Journey
From the world of games to software development and digital businesses.
Over 20 years ago, my curiosity for technology started in forums, fan sites and game servers. Today, I build websites, apps and systems and take part in tech businesses, without ever stopping being a nerd.

Origin: a Zelda forum, 2000s
01 / Who I am
Games, anime, forums and fan sites. Gamer culture is where the internet became, for me, a place to create, not just consume.
Websites, iOS and Android apps, systems, software and technology architecture. Over two decades turning ideas into products.
A tech company, new ventures and startup investments. The same curiosity, at other scales.
I started by building spaces for people who loved the same games I did. Today, I’m still building, just at other scales.
02 / The journey
From dial-up internet to startup investments: 11 levels, one character leveling up.
Super Mario, Zelda, dial-up after midnight, LAN houses and all-nighters: where the curiosity was born.
My cousin Rogério, aka Qra Kabalak, taught me to format computers: four CDs, drivers and lots of patience.
Watching Thiago code the TurboSeg website in PHP, I realized I could build the internet too.
At 12, I started building mariobrasil.com.br. In 2006, the site went live.
At Piece EX, a One Piece site, I coded and synced subtitles in VobSub while my cousin translated.
Tibia, Ragnarok, RuneScape, Dragon Raja and WoW. And, without realizing it, my first deals.
At 15, I organized Shin Sekai, an anime, gaming and geek culture event in my hometown.
Exchange program in Santiago, Chile: independence, a new culture and fresh perspectives.
Ran for city council on youth, technology and geek culture. First alternate for my party.
Startups, web systems, native iOS and Android apps, Deeptech and startup investments.
The fan sites I keep running just for fun: Mario, Zelda, One Piece and Pokémon.
03 / Projects
The Brazilian Super Mario fan site I started at 12 and launched in 2006.
Five independent fan sites I keep running just for fun, made by a fan for fans, non-profit.
Building Piece EX, a One Piece site, and syncing subtitles in VobSub with my cousin João Felipe.
Native iOS and Android apps, built across different startups.
From websites for doctors and small businesses to software, web systems and digital platforms.
Deeptech, my software and technology solutions company, plus startup investments.
05 / Tech & Ideas
Before “tech career” was even a thing in my head, there was a forum, an idea I couldn’t find anywhere, and a lot of will to learn.
React under the hood, animations that respect reduced-motion preferences, an interactive terminal, unlockable achievements and a nostalgia mode to visit other times. Explore the choices behind every pixel.
Difficulty curves, instant feedback and rewards: game design lessons that apply to any software.
Press start
Projects, partnerships, startups or a good conversation about technology, games and anime. Every good journey needs a party.
